Imam Ali A.S Saying about Friend

The saying "Bura Dost Aag Ki Manind Hy" is attributed to Hazrat Ali (A.S.), who was the cousin and son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The saying means that a bad friend is like fire - if you get too close, it will burn you, and if you try to put it out, it will leave you with blackened hands.

In other words, having bad company or friends can have negative consequences, just like fire. If you associate with people who have a negative influence, it can lead to negative outcomes in your life. For example, you might end up engaging in harmful activities or making poor decisions. And just like fire, trying to end a bad friendship can also be challenging and leave a lasting impact on you.

Therefore, it is important to be cautious and selective about the people you choose to befriend. Choose friends who will support you, encourage you, and help you grow as a person, rather than those who will bring you down or lead you astray.

In essence, the saying reminds us that our choice of friends can have a significant impact on our lives. It encourages us to surround ourselves with positive, uplifting people who will help us become the best version of ourselves, and to avoid those who will only bring us down.
